About us. We are a family-run watch and jewelry store in the heart of Zurich's old town with our own watchmaker's workshop, of which we are particularly proud.
The history of Max Affolter Watches & Jewelry
The company Max Affolter Uhren & Bijouterie was founded in 1938 by Max Affolter. The business is now run by the second generation of the family, daughter Andrea Ricklin. The company philosophy has remained the same: The customer should have an unforgettable shopping experience. They are the focus of attention and receive attentive and competent advice. Thanks to the exquisite range of high-quality watches and unique pieces of jewelry, it is easy for us to fulfill individual customer wishes. With our own in-house watchmaker’s workshop, which is run by a qualified watchmaker-rehabilitator, we also offer the perfect customer service in this respect.
Time is something very valuable. We are happy to take time for you.

Leonardo Todisco
Watchmaker-Rhabilleur
“A clockwork is alive and pulsating, just like a person's heartbeat,” explains Leonardo Todisco with shining eyes.
The federally certified watchmaker-rhabilleur has been running the watchmaking workshop at Max Affolter for almost 20 years. He loves the challenge, because every watch model ticks differently. For him, there is nothing better than bringing a watch back to life.
